I can't believe you didn't get a response but I'm sure there are more than one thread about rebuilding a driven clutch. You will need to compress the hub to remove the tension from the clip while you are removing it. I spent about a day making a press to do it from a picture I found on the web. It's just a upright with two legs that the clutch lays on and it has a handle pinned to it that is as long as the lower legs to push down on and I put a clamp on it to hold it down while I fidget with the clip and turn the clutch sheeve to twist the spring. The handle has a round semicircle with two studs sticking in toward the center to press on the hub as it is pressed down. The semicircle is big enough to work in to twist the clutch around to put the spring under tension. It's just a press. A hydraulic press would probably also work if the center was exposed to work on the clip and turn the clutch sheeve to tighten the inner spring.

actually a helper is all you need they can be the press and twister probably.
