Charge port has 3 wires, 2 large wires (white & black to the main battery terminals), 1 small wire. Small wire (to reed switch) should have 36v+ whenever charger plug is not plugged in.

The reed switch is designed to keep people from driving off with the charger plugged in. Do a search for "reed switch bypass". Very easy to bypass if you so desire.

The reed switch is in the charging receptacle and is designed to keep people from driving off with the charger plugged in. Very easy to bypass if you so desire.

Thanks. It was already bypassed but I found the same wire broken near the controller
