Default Series Ezgo selniod jumper

Hey guys how's it going. So here is my issue I have a series Ezgo that would not run I put a jumper wire from selniod to battery n it works but unfortunately won't work without I opened my charger receptacle and there is no reed switch I believe so I'm just wondering what I can. Do. To fix this than again for ur help

The solenoid has 4 posts and the small ones have 2 polarities.
I'm wonder where this wire connects and if it made the solenoid click when it was connected ?

Thanx for reply Scotty yes I had read other threads saying to jump the small post with red wires on it to main positive then selniod clicks if I take of that jumper I canno get any click

I'm just wondering what can I do to fix this problem I've went thru all wiring I.cant figure it outdoor the life of me

Here is a diagram of how the red wire is supposed to be activated when you step on the gas... sounds like your source may be the battery pack main instead of the charge receptacle. Either way the first connection from the source would be to the F&R micro switch.

My main wire that goes from battery pack to selnoid ? So change that wire ?

I changed the connector at batt the wire itself seems good
