Default battery gauge

Anyone tried one of these? Would it be more information than just a voltage readout?

I am thinking about adding it to my 04 DS.

It is limited to 100A max. Not sure it would hold up on your cart.

As Kinny said, the 100 amp range would not work. This is more for automotive use. A current shunt for 300 or more amps would be needed for electric vehicles.

It is a great concept though. Maybe this will be available since electric vehicles are becoming more common.

Here is another option that does not use shunts:

Sergio, that is a great find! And a decent price.
I have been interested in a current readout but was unwilling to use a shunt.

Clearly not per the photos - but I suppose you could make some masking tape barriers and pour your own potting compound into the back.

I am sure it is not waterproof, so it should be mounted so the back is not exposed.

If Your driving conditions involve that much water where it gets behind the dash, then there are other units available (more expensive) that would offer water protection.

There is at least one member here that uses that meter, maybe he will comment on his experience.

that gauge reads volts only and is fine for a golf cart
discussion above is about reading amp draw too
