Re: 36 to 48 volt conversion
just with a lift and big tires they are pretty jerky, theres no comparison between a v-glide and a pot..............i have both setups and also have a cart with lift/tires that had a v-glide that i switched to a pb-6 pot and the difference is night and day..................................

Re: 36 to 48 volt conversion
What is my cart worth as it sits with new batteries? Should I just sell it and get a 48v?

Re: 36 to 48 volt conversion
a 93 with new 6 volt batteries? depending on brand of batteries and where your located i guess anywhere from 1000 to 1500 bucks..........and yes if you can get that kind of money sell it and get a 48 volt cart but check how old or condition of batteries as you may end up needing a set for the 48 volt .................if you take your time about buying you should be able to run into a deal somewhere............................

Re: 36 to 48 volt conversion
A 48v cart WILL NOT perform as well as a 36v on 48 volts.
Slowest cart I ever drove was a 95 48v CC When you put a 36v cart on 48v you are not just converting to 48v, you are over volting the motor. The same as overclocking your computer. |
