rear leaf spring shackles precedent 2008
how do you replace the bushings in the rear leaf spring shackles? it seems you have to separate the frame from the inner body to get the topbolt out or am I missing something simple, thanks

I took a dremmel tool and cut a notch in that plastic so I could get to the head of the bolt and took it out that way.

Loosen up the bolts that hold the underbody support to the frame. When they're tight, then pinch the shackle and make it hard to get out. This usually works. If not, you may have to take a pry bar and apply gentle pressure to pop it out.
