Another question from a novice.
You guys helped me with a voltage reducer now I've got another question please. I have reworked my cart 48 volt Club Car DS 2003 with new batteries, voltage reducer, head and tail lights. Before I reworked it when depressing the gas peddle you would hear a click and the cart would take off. I'm gonna call this a contactor. Sometimes (for the lack of a better term) the contactor will not pull in and the cart wont do anything. sometimes when your running along the contactor will drop out and the cart looses power. This is still happening after the rebuild. I hope I don,t sound like a complete dummy trying to describe my problem. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks Richard Smith |

Re: Another question from a novice.
You’re referring to the Solenoid. And the issue you describe sounds like a throttle related (MCOR) issue. That would be the first thing I check.
