Cool Checked yellow fuse!!good news ..for me

I Need to use my 2002 DS-CC Soon~~~~ little problem i think.

I checked all 6 batteries--which were new last year ..or maybe a year before that. Here s what i did..I take the blame here -getting in hurry, ALWAYS gets me in trouble. The batteries all check above 8.50 volts... give or take a little bit.I left the key in the on-last tuesday~~ plugged it in -and also forgot to put the- Switch from "RUN" over to "TOW.".My cart was working perfectly,up until then. What and/or where can start looking to get this figured out? It does absolutely nothing-at present.any help is genuinely appreciated bob s

I just checked my "pack" voltage and am reading 25.48 volts acrossed the 6 of the batteries

Iread here a little bit ago today.I may need to charge half of the pack-before, i charge the- whole pack-all at once???is this correct? bob s and thank you

Well!Good news for now.I went out and pulled the yellow fuse apart to check it out btw strange looking fuse when you look at it inside.licked off the ends. Stuck it back in the yellow holder.bam!!The reverse buzzer kicked into high gear.TOW position. backed her out and away it went. What do you suppose??

This fuse wasn't blown! its abit black in color though

The corrosion you are finding causes a resistance to current flow. This will overheat the fuse holder and eventually get to the point there will no longer be a good electrical contact.

It is a good idea to periodically clean fuses with an abrasive pad and brush off the fuse holders with a brass gun barrel cleaning brush.

Spray with an electrical contact cleaner before reinstalling the fuse.

If all of your batteries are 8.50 volts, but the total pack voltage is only showing 25 volts, you have a poor connection somewhere. Check your wires.
