2001 club car ds upgrade controller
Hello all, I believe I fried my controller on my dreaded regen 2 club car ds. I believe it is a 220 amp factory controller. I spoke to a guy about having it rebuilt and he was wanting to have it rebuilt as a 350 amp controller???? I don't believe my STOCK motor will will hold up. What do ya ll think

Re: 2001 club car ds upgrade controller
I believe you have that mixed up. Don’t run a upgraded motor on a stock controller, but you can run upgraded controller with stock motor. 350 amp controller means it can handle 350 amps I believe. Your rebuilder is probably suggesting this with that in mind.
In other words, the controller doesn’t “put out” 350 amps, that’s how much it can handle. |
