The 12 gauge wire that’s white next to battery positive probably needs connected.Jack cart up check the Curtis controller for battery power on large lugs you will have to power it up see if your getting the full 36 volts on the controller if so you need to check the small terminals I believe there are three terminals one should be 36 volt power the other two will have signal from throttle.if all that checks out you will need to test motor.you can go to Curtis and find service manual on the controller there are many you may have to search there site to find the correct one.

In picture #3, looks like there may have been some over heating in the wire with the blue connector?
That is "supposed" to be the solenoid (main contactor)

That 1204M is an advanced controller. If you are getting a throttle signal out of the V-glide and the motor is working along with the solenoid closing, then you may need to check that controller out.

Testing the solenoid I have continuity across the secondary side when energized. I have no continuity across the primary side. Could the solenoid be stuck? Either way going to try a solenoid I'll check in after that

The 2 small posts should have 48v (or pack voltage) when the key is On, selector in Fwd, and Go Pedal Depressed. The 2 large post should have 1 to 1.5 volts across them when static and 0 volts when the solenoid closes in.

Well we had our baby girl Josie she is beautiful. I did get a new solenoid. I tried wiring the car according to a diagram for updated speed controller. I still had no voltage at the solenoid. I had a little trouble with the wiring diagram making sense with the limit switches I tried switching a few wires and got a dead short. I will study some more and get back after it later.
