What should I expect to pay for each battery? I am getting quotes of 175 per battery.

I just converted from 4 12 volt T-1275 to 6 8 volt T-875s.

I found I still had the receipt from 2013 for the T-1275s at $480. The 6 T-875s cost me about $800. This is in Oklahoma.

I have still yet to pay for new batteries. LOL

I need to as the wife and daughter are getting upset!

As stated I have an EZGO RXV. Would it be smart to convert over to the new lithium setup?

In addition to getting highest AH possible and practical, keeping on float charge while not in use increases average SoC and lengthens usable lifespan.
What does SoC stand for?

There is a lot of work involved in going to lithium unless you try the lithium 8 volt or 12 volt manufactured packs.

I, frankly, have yet to hear any positive comments about the lithium versions of a 12 volt or 8 volt battery. SOOOOO I converted 4 - 12 volt lead acid to 6 - 8 volt lead acid.

If you’re going to convert to lithium, look up Bob Boyce’s experience. If I remember correctly, he based his conversion on Nissan Leaf batteries.

At this point, I say stay with Lead Acid.

(FYI; this is not to dis Bob. He’s an increadably smart man. I just decided I’m not ready to put the effort into converting battery technology.)
