MPT 1000 "5, 3" code.
My MPT 1000 (48v) sometimes won't move. It's an intermittent problem. When I press the throttle I don't hear the relay click and nothing happens. If I wait, or turn it off and on a few times, it might start working. The control box is flashing 5, 3 "Aux output shorted or bad control unit". The aux output is not used.
Has anyone opened up the control box and debugged an issue like this? I have 40 years electronics experience. TIA, Karl |

Oh, to be clear, I don't know whether the 5,3 code is related to the driving problem. I have seen the 5,3 code when it was driving okay.

As it turns out I found a list of diag codes on the cart that don't match the manual I found online. On the cart it says 5,3 means MAIN CONT DNC. I believe that means the main solenoid didn't close? I think I knew that, but at least I'm not chasing the Aux Port.
