Okay put the cart up on jack stands so you can mess with it WITHOUT FEAR it will take off

"This assembly is made up of five micro switches that are actuated by plastic ramp slide, all secured inside square aluminum tubing sealed at each end with plastic cap. " This is according to a replacement parts company.
