thanks delagem for the link,,, it contained the information I wanted and I will be trying it this week with one of my cars. it contained one reply that answered my question,, all the rest infovoled adding extra batteries,,,but one reply was VERY useful

it's a 96 carryall, it's got a elect dump bed. I've had it for 7 years and driven it thousands of miles,I'll be doing the exsperment on one of my 2000.5 club cars,two of them are just alike, one serial number from each other and so far they test the same in every way, don't want to hurt dumpy. Yes , i'll be taking notes about this exsperment and will post , hopefuly within a week.

hummmmmm...... does any one else smell burnt controller ....kinda like forgetting to flip the tow / run switch when changing batteries
