no 48 volt won,t work in a 36 volt cart but a 36 volt motor will work in a 48 volt cart.................................

Good motor, no doubt... But listen to the guys on this site. They know what they're talking about. That motor will draw way too much current for the resistors to handle. They'll get so hot they may catch fire.

probably best to call Plum Quick, tell them what your plans are, then let them customize a rebuild of your stock motor.

Those are some good people there but they only have 48 v motors and besides i have a 2007 rear for the car and the old one is a 1980 not worth rebuilding
