Got my new rear end and motor in . 6.1 hp @4600 rpm works like a dream . top speed on level is 27mph by my GPS . 36 volt is plenty fast and climbs the small hills i have like crazy. So for now I'm happy . The resistor wire does not get any hotter than it did with the 2 hp motor. It does seem to pull the batts down more on the same amount of run time . I need to get a bat gauge .What are your thought on this ?
