EZGO- Alltrax controller
Hi All,
I have recently installed a couple of Alltrax DCX units in EZGO TXT carts. The units work well but I am concerned over the cramped fit when I put the controller cover back on. Has anyone come up with a simple solution ie. a spacer between the heatsink and the cover. Thanks |

Re: EZGO- Alltrax controller
Do not put the stock environmental cover on the Alltrax or any other aftermarket controller.
The environmental cover is meant to keep moisture off of the stock Curtis Control. It is not water resistant. All aftermarket controls are potted in resin = water resistance. the environmental cover will not serve any good purpose on the aftermarket control and may in fact inhibit proper cooling and cause heat to build up, which would cause a problem. We have been cutting the environmental cover in half or less and installing only the top half (or less) for PDS & DCS carts that need a place to mount the run tow switch. |

Re: EZGO- Alltrax controller
The solenoid doesn't need to be covered.
