Default Re: '87 CC Center Dash Panel Removal

Had some good weather today to paint the dash . I've been anxious to git er done because I wanted to see it finished with the Digital Battery Meter I got from Scotty .
I got the top alumimum trim off the top of the cowl but after getting it off I saw how the screws were held into the trim with little T-Nuts . One screw broke off in the T-Nut . I'm going to have to be lucky to find a T-Nut that small (Hint,Hint).
I also painted the steering column. Thought about getting her a chrome cover but I decided that was money I could spend on something more worth while. Besides, it looks good and goes with the new color scheme I'm planning. The aluminmum trim is going to be black to match the rear roof struts and the new black frontroof strut I have ordered . In addition to the strut for Valentines Day I'm getting my wife new Go, Brake, and Park Pads and a battery water fill bottle (for me). She'll be excited I'm sure .
Hope the pictures come through alright, I'm new at this. It was getting dark out so it does not show up as good as I would like .There will be before and after shots in case you cannot tell !
Should have taken that ugly yellow lable off!
