I put a set of AGM 12v in a Gem car last year. It is a security cart at a shopping mall. We went to the AGM because of its faster recharge rate and slower self discharge rates. Plus they don't need water added which was NOT happening because of the access problems with the Gem car design. They managed to kill these batteries just the same way they have killed all the wet cells. In my opinion they have not been worth the added expense.
Likely the bit about 2 or 3 deep discharges has been their demise? |
