Default Best Golf cart batteries?

Ok. So I would like to know what batteries to buy for my 1998 ezgo txt. I drive around town and so I would need long lasting batteries (distance and lifespan wise). Any advice will be helpful.

i see from your other post you have a 95 36v club car so imho i'd go with the Trojan
here are Trojan specs .. i run t-605
t-605 58lbs x 6 = 348lbs Capacity Minutes @25Amps 383 @75Amps 105
t-105 62lbs x 6 = 372lbs Capacity Minutes @25Amps 447 @75Amps 115
t-125 66lbs x 6 = 396lbs Capacity Minutes @25Amps 488 @75Amps 132
t-145 72lbs x 6 = 432lbs Capacity Minutes @25Amps 530 @75Amps 145

Here is a list of 6V deep-cycle batteries that are typically used in golf carts.
Sorted with highest AH ratings at the top and then alphabetically by brand name.

Adding a seventh battery in the space under the driver seat will give you greater run-time (distance) and battery lifespan, as well as speed and torque, but you'll have to upgrade the controller/solenoid and get a 42V charger.

For max range, etc., go to eight 6V batteries, but fitting the eighth battery under the seat is a challenge, or the extra ones can be mounted in the bagwell.

I have a similar list for 8V batteries.

The statement at the bottom refers to run-time rather than performance.

Shop around. The majority of dealers/shops are on or just off the same street (as you probably know).

I see Big O's has 6 Crown 235's for $599 advertised on line. Pretty good price for that capacity, I think, but you might be able to beat that even.
