![]() I want to machine my driven clutch myself, but I am not sure how much or where I need to remove the extra stock.
Any help along with pics would help a lot. Thanks. |

![]() I would just ship it somewhere to have it done. You could call CPP or Plowmans and they will do it for dirt cheap. I mean if you have the right equipment go for it but I think unless your really good at it you might mess it up.

Although I do have the right equipment, Take a look at my shop and let me know what you think. The more I think about it the more sense it makes to send it out, I do know if I would save much by trying to do it myself. |

![]() You sure have the shop for it, but know-how is prestigious and Cart Parts Plus sure has the know-how.
![]() You could send it to CPP for around $60 and have it done, or get new sheaves for $57 for the sliding one and $62 for the fixed one. I'd send it off. ![]() I'm not saying you would mess it up, but why take the risk? ![]() |

![]() The engine is already up at a higher rpm so when you give it gas it struggles less to rev up because its already partially there. It alows the engine to speed up faster because its already running instead of a dead stop, I hope this helps.
