![]() Hopefully this post will not be considered a cross post. I did post a couple questions in the newbie area. But this is a specific question.
Are there any alternative engines that one can easily put in a '91 cart that currently has a 2 stroke engine? Would like to modify as little as possible- drop in replacement? (wishful thinking I am sure). Would really prefer a 4 stroke. TIA |

![]() Your 2 stroke motor runs backwards for reverse, 4 strokes run in only one direction, 4 stroke in your cart = no reverse .

![]() I have been reading on this site for a couple hours now and just a few minutes ago found a hint of that in a post. I thought the post was saying the cart did not have reverse. I never imagined the engine ran backwards. Interesting.
I see your from Brooklyn. I grew up in Saline. Now living in western New York state. Thanks for your help. |
