That is a good deal on a good engine. I have 50 trouble free hours on my swap into an ezgo, and I am not pampering it. I have changed the oil twice using synthetic. Only complaint is the carburetor does not give a perfect transition from idle to wot, but it is not bad at all. It is designed to run all day at 3600 rpms. Love the sound compared to the one lunger swaps. Buy the warranty and let off the throttle when you hear the valves float, mine do around 4500 rpms or so. High speed gears are a must if you want to keep engine stock yet go fast.

Have fun with it! Mine came with some oil in it. I just drained it out and put fresh Brad Penn break in oil in it. Didn’t trust the Chinese oil. Took a little bit to pull fuel from tank into carb.

Carb will be too lean, in particular if you change the exhaust for more flow. There are threads here on modding the carb or adjusting it.

Yes its a pretty good engine. Get bored check out carsandcameras on youtube they ran one in a motorcycle, built it up and ran it in a lawnmower and a kids dragster frame. It sounded great. The lawnmower did 60mph or something then he rolled it somehow then they put it back in the dragster. I think they had it on a gokart too.

We can't get the twin clone engines here in Ontario. The problem seems to be emissions related. Clone singles are no problem though (I have 3 of them). And if I cross the border to Harbour Freight in Port Huron to get a Predator twin it will cost me almost twice what you guys pay.

..and I'm not actually sure they will let me bring that engine back to Ontario.
