Re: chargers
Look at the Lester Summit II series. It comes in 650w and 1050w output sizes. It has a 4 year warranty.
The 650 charges 36-48 volts auto sensing. The 1050 charges 24 - 48v also auto sensing. We offer this charger with a SB50 cordset and a selection of short adapters to fit Ezgo, Club Car, Yamaha, RXV, etc. This way one charger can be used on a 36v CC and then a 48v RXV next... same charger. Did I mention the BT app with many many downloadable charge algorithms to fit any battery plus a charge history feature. I'm so sure nothing else compares it is the only charger we sell. |

Re: chargers
On the topic of charger selection, does anyone have any experience either good or bad with Pro Charging Systems chargers?

Re: chargers
ScottyB., Its crazy you mention the Lester Series 2. While at work yesterday i noticed one of the EZ Go carts had this charger. After repairing the cart i wanted to plug it in before returning to its user. That's when i noticed the Bluetooth sticker on it. Did some Googling to get the app and wow i was amazed what it shows. State of charge, mins left to charge is completed, fault, etc. I wanted to make a thread asking if anybody is using one but didn't get around to it yet.
It appears after some research that Lester is basically the God Father of battery chargers and took all the great things of other chargers and combined it all into this one. I did a search on here and couldn't find many that use it. ERIC is mentioned a lot but i didn't get around to reading up on that charger. With that said, if money is not a issue and you wanted the absolutely the best charger for a cart. Would the Lester Series 2 be your top choice? chetv10, here are a couple screen shots i took after the charge was completed on the cart i mentioned above. As it is mentioned it can charge 36 and 48 volts. It can even do Lithium batteries as well. Wayne |

Re: chargers
Be careful on the Lithium part. I have a Lester Summit II that I will be selling as it was represented by the seller (not a site sponsor-my mistake) as compatible with Lithium. It appears that it will work for some but not all; don't make the same mistake that I did if you have Lithium-do your homework before buying for this application.
That said, the charger appears to be top quality and a great choice, and the bluetooth is cool! |
