Default How to make my Club Car DS go faster than 25MPH

I have a 2004 electric Club Car DS I put new Trojan batteries in it and a new D&D 506-02 electric motor. I also added 10 inch rims. My GPS shows I am getting 25MPH out of it. The controler and everything else is stock. If I add a new controler can I get more speed, or what can you guy's suggest that will get me to 30MPH. I do not have the cart lifted. That is something I really do not know how to do.
Thanks

I higher amp controller increases torque not speed. There are faster motors out there. The motor along with larger tires is probably the only way to increase speed.

High speed gears in the rearend would be next,
but I have to warn you... carts aren't really designed to go that fast without other modifications,
(Steering, suspension, roll cage, etc.)

Be careful of what you wish for!

I have a early 2000 club car 48 volt DS. I herald someone say that a 36volt motor could be swapped into this cart and it may produce more speed.

Is this a series or a sepex motor cart?
Is there a Run/Tow switch on the vehicle?
Yes = sepex
No = series
Both can be made to go fast. They just require different approaches.
