I can tell that the seller has a crappy camera!

Ask him for the date code stamped on each negative post of the battery.

Well I have something to say.....I bought a old caret and have done alot of mods..Not going to spend alot on it until end of huinting season...I had to of the 6 batteries not geting above 40% I did the salt thing with pure sea salt.....I am now geting it to 100%......I added a little at the time to get it to the 100%.....and it is still going good...This has only been a week......I have gotten my kids to run it out a few time and I have recharged again....So we will see how long it is or can last....It is on the charger as I type....Going hunting tommorrow

What can you guys tell about the batteries from these no so good picks ? I'm torn now as to what to do, this is a very good price on some trojan batteries. Mine seem to work fine yesterday, but the unknown is will they last 2 months or 2 years ! Should I jump on this deal and go ahead and change them out ?

I called the guy and he wasn't in front of the batteries, but said they were 08's and he is calling me back with the stamp when he gets back to the shop. I didn't think to ask the model, I will when he calls me back.

Thats something you'd have to answer there Buddy. To be able to score a set of batteries for $450 is pretty good to start with, and if you throw in the batteries being top of the line, its a no brainer ....... They can always sit until you get that next cart needing batteries. Remember, cold weather has a way of showing a person just how bad their batteries suck.

I think what I'd do is attempt to go up there and play some boo-games with the people. Lots of times they'd rather give you a good set of batteries than to get a butt-load of bad publicity. Would that place you got the cart from happen to be Trucks and T***** ?

I have to quit, if I keep on, I'll talk myself into riding to Thomasville

Good luck with the decision

The place I got my cart from gave me exactly what I paid for. I choose to go with the batteries that were in the cart, I had a option of paying for new batteries when I got it on Monday. T and T is a different dealer than where I got the cart, but they are the place that has the batteries.

My used batteries are looking good now after replacing one with a good used free one from the place I got the cart. All of them check out at 6.32 or better when fully charged. I rode 7 miles yesterday and it still had 50% left according to the power meter on the dash.
