The G14 was a 1 1/2 year car. If you look at the "front" pivot point were the swing arm and main frame join, you'll see it has a bolt going thru horizontal. I would find out what size the thru bolt is and buy some heim joints simular to what Vegas Carts do for there EZgo drop brackets. Good luck

So it just has a single connection in the front?

I know you're swing arm is different than a G9, but check out this one I did. Look at post 4, 5, and 6. I cut the front swing arm frame and dropped it. Welded in some 3/16 steel plates to connect them. It worked great. Not sure if you could do the same thing with yours, but maybe similar.

Single pivot point at the front and a G 16 panhard bar at the rear.

Do you think this would be enough to keep the engine cradle stable with just the panhard bar locating the other end ?

Here's Vegas Cart's guide to the different swing arm/ cradle designs for comparison. Maybe you could use a different design swing arm/cradle? Or maybe this will give you an idea from looking at other cradles.

Another way is to drop the engine cradle portion. Keep the outer frame the same, but just build an interior frame the engine sits on and drop it down in the front. Just an idea.
