engine quiting help!!!
I just bought a gas club car, and it has problems starting some times, and at full throttle on flat ground the engine quits for a second every 3 seconds or so. it runs great going up hills with no quiting of the engine what so ever. I put a new air filter, new pulg, and cleaned the carb, but still wants to stall for a second every 3 seconds. any ideas?

Re: engine quiting help!!!
i think it must be. i looked at the throttle linkage when in was driving it and it was fine its not backing off. its something electrical i think, the engine is getting lots of air and fuel and the only thing that i think it could be is the spark pulg is somehow not firing? isthere any was that i could by pass the rev limiter?

Re: engine quiting help!!!
Do you see the wire eyelet @ #1 & 4? Remove the left bolt, remove the wire eylet from that bolt, Reinstall the bolt, and tape the eylet up with electrical tape, to prevent any grounding, and just let it hang! Your Rev Limiter is now bypassed! (Just make sure you don't over Rev!) |
