Ya I kinda knew it was going project so I made an offer based on worst case scenario. Everytime Ive purchased something not running I assume the worst case scenario. I dont think I have ever been lucky enough to just hooked up a new battery and cruise off into the sunset !

There's a seller on ebay "recrepairinfo" who has manuals for **** near any peice of machinery and their cheap too.

let me know where you find your best motor deals. I have two gas club car (1999 & 2000) that have the fe290 motors. at this time neither one run, replaced battery and when pressing the gas it begins to slowly turn the starter generator (creeps). I think the solenoid might have issues too. I just received them from a family member and was considering just repowering. I heard you can find a motor for around $700 plus conversion kit. Let me know what direction you go.

I went with a harbor freight 420cc engine was $269 out the door. Had to make a jackshaft to get it to spin the correct direction. I have a build thread here. Check it out.
