Basic trouble codes and Monitoring
Is there a hand held to be purchased for the Moric controller...I'd just like to be able to do some basic troubleshooting without throwing parts at these carts also would like to be able to see throttle inputs

Re: Basic trouble codes and Monitoring
Read this older thread with a lot of information... you'll need a PDA, Yamaha infrared sensor and the Genius software to get access to the controller. My recommendation, go with an Alltrax / Navitas controller.

Re: Basic trouble codes and Monitoring
The Moric controller isn't very good. Invest in an Alltrax controller and you can diagnose everything with a laptop and their free software.

FWIW
An older laptop like the legendary IBM ThinkPad has an infrared port and would work as well. |
